These terms refer to those who have openly professed through a Worker, regularly attend and participate in the 2&#215;2 church meetings and follow its beliefs and practices. <\/p>\n<p>There are two types of lay members. Some are born and raised (B&#038;R) in a 2&#215;2 home. Others are adult joiners or latecomers. <\/p>\n<p>John 15:13-15 &#8211; <em>Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his <strong>friends.<\/strong>  Ye are my <strong>friends<\/strong>, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you <strong>friends;<\/strong> for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Philippians 1 &#8211; <em>Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all <strong>the saints<\/strong> in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1 Corinthians 1:2 &#8211; <em>Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, <strong>called to be saints&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 2:11 <em>&#8230;he is not ashamed to call them <strong>brethren<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Worker Quote: We are glad to tell those of you who are young, there are two wonderful possibilities before you. <strong>The greatest and best<\/strong> is to put your life on God&#8217;s altar where it can be used wholly in the service of others. Let God make you a fisher of men, a minister of Christ&#8217;s Gospel&#8230;Second to this is the possibility of being <strong>a saint<\/strong> and possibly having a home that could be used in the service of God. Some of you say you want a home. Nothing wrong in this if God has not called you to fill the first and best place.
